Izzy Morales (Otmara Marrero) is a bright young programmer with a potentially game-changing idea: GenCoin, a cryptocurrency that might reach individuals all around the world, including those who are blocked off from traditional banking.

The emergence of GenCoin has become a controversial tech idea centered on digital currency. The slow-burn drama first aired on Crackle in 2016, but it didn’t gain traction until all three seasons of StartUp were released on Netflix last year.
