Tokenize Xchange has recently received some reports from users about imposters of Tokenize Facebook accounts. To protect your assets, please be careful with the following scams:

Facebook scams and impostors

Imposter Facebook account

Scammers would create a Facebook account that impersonates our official Facebook with a fake avatar and information. If you don’t look closely, you may mistake a fake account for the original one since they look surprisingly identical to the original one.

Give-away scam

A fake account of a Tokenize Xchange would announce a giveaway. It sounds like a bargain: you just need to send them 1 BTC/ETH, and they will send you 10 coins! Unfortunately, after you send your coin, the profile will immediately block you and keep scamming other traders.

Fake Links

Scammers would send fake news or free give-away to get your attention in order to have you click on a scam link. Some examples:

  • Direct messages with links to get you to click
  • Tag your account into a post with fake links
  • Links resulting in another log-in request for your Facebook provider
  • Surveys to harvest your personal information for identify hijacking

* A blue tick is the verified icon next to our fanpage name given from Facebook. This is the badge that proves a fanpage is legitimate. Any Tokenize fanpage without this icon is an impostor and must be reported to Facebook. And any campaign they offer is a scam.
